He is survived by his wife, Rochelle; children, Karen, Michael, and Jody; sisters, Sharon Shepard of Deerfield, Illinois; grandchildren, Rebecca, Conor, Megan and Derek. Graduated from New Trier High School in 1952; B.A. from Amherst College, 1956; M.A. from Stanford University, 1960; Lieutenant, U.S.A.F. (1956-1959). Armchair sportsman, master wordsmith, ultimate analyst, forty-year computer industry veteran; notorious nose pincher; loved his family, friends and dog, Squire.
